As a Fractional CTO (on-going) and former Chief Software Architect at SUN Mobility, I focused on Electric Mobility technology, specifically on scaling a $300M partnership with IndoFast to develop the world's largest battery swap network, which aims to span over 10K stations and manage 1M+ battery swap vehicles. My intervention included capacity scaling with clustered stations, implementing a unified Edge-AI software platform across various product lines in micromobility and heavy vehicles, and enhancing operations and support with AI LLM-based strategies, all underpinned by a patent-driven IP strategy. The outcomes were significant, including a multi-organization architecture, engineering and product leadership, achieving over $9M in topline cost savings, a 300% increase in swap service capacity, a 100× scale in operations and support, and securing 12+ joint patents.
In my role as a technology advisor to ProClime on Blue Carbon Projects, I assessed the technology architecture and user experience for a remote-sensing and LLM-based software platform aimed at scalable, automated evaluations of mangrove restoration carbon projects in India and Sri Lanka, contributing to AI/ML for sustainability efforts.
While serving as CTO at Eugenie.AI, I developed a SaaS-based AI solution that successfully reduced SPM and CO emissions by 5% in steel manufacturing, showcasing the impact of deep tech consulting in the industry.
Additionally, I support technology and innovation strategies for VCs, founders, startups, enterprises, and government-linked programs. My key initiatives include:
(a) Being a member and mentor of the NASSCOM Deep-Tech Council and an Emerge 50 Jury member since 2023, where I evaluated over 100 startups in the Climate Tech and Mobility sectors for the Emerge awards.
(b) Serving as a jury member for the Karnataka Government ELEVATE program since 2024, which involved assessing over 30 startups for eligibility for Rs 50 Lakh grants.
(c) Participating as a Technical Program Committee member and Session Chair for AI/ML Technologies for Space Applications at the Global IEEE Space Conference in 2025 and 2026.
(d) Mentoring at IIT Madras, ISB, AI-Gurukul, and SusMafia Ventures.
My research also extends into mathematical techniques for energy-efficient AI robotics, leveraging my background in robotics and topology.
